The Junior Central Services Manager plays a critical role to ensure our Somerville office runs smoothly every day.
Reporting directly to the Director Central Services, the Junior Manager’s key responsibilities will include responding to facilities requests, coordinating repairs and vendors, supervising cleaning and maintenance services, managing supplies and invoices, and supporting events and daily operations.

Ensure the building is clean, safe, and in working order each day and all areas of the building are fully functional to support PUMA business for our employees and visitors Respond promptly to and manage facilities requests using the internal work order system Diagnose maintenance issues to resolution or bring in appropriate vendor Perform routine maintenance tasks and address facility-related issues including but not limited to, repairs, inspection, equipment upkeep, carpentry, simple plumbing, painting, moving of boxes/furniture/supplies, small scale office reconfigurations, and building preventative maintenance Process all Central Services related invoicing including creating and managing PO’s Manage and handle all vendor contracts, including vendors for various maintenance items, activities, and tasks Provide first-class support to internal teams, visitors and vendors while addressing requests in a timely and professional manner including identifying opportunities for process improvement Act as a point of contact for any facility-related concerns, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
Conduct daily walkthroughs of building to identify and action any issues, opportunities for improved operation and service excellence Support department and company-wide events, meetings, and trainings with set up, take down and furniture coordination Act as a Safety Captain during emergencies and evacuations Order and maintain core office supplies including facilities related items Assist with shipping and receiving tasks as needed, including but not limited to daily delivery of office mail and packages Liaise with Building Management Support ad hoc projects and tasks related to the Central Services function as needed and assigned supporting day-to-day operations of the Facilities and Mailroom teams.
High School Diploma or Associate’s Degree 0-2 years’ experience in building/site operations Basic knowledge of all trades (HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire/Life Safety etc.) Must be onsite daily to perform tasks and oversee staff Proficient with Microsoft Office Lifting up to 50 Lbs. required The Hiring range base pay for this position is $57,000 - $75,810 + Bonus + Benefits (Benefit Summary Corporate) Pay may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience
