We work with some of the world’s biggest sports organisations – including the NFL, Premier League, Formula 1, AFL, Wimbledon and UEFA – and have been named Sport Industry Agency of the Year on more than four occasions. 

A team of over 500 Two Circlers work from six offices across the world (London, New York, Los Angeles, Paris, Bern and Melbourne) servicing our expanding international client base. 

Data is at the centre of our approach - helping clients to get a better understanding of their customers and deliver insights that influence top-level decision-making. From there, we develop digital products and integrate data and technology solutions that grow audiences and revenue across ticketing, participation, sponsorship and media. 

JOB DESCRIPTION 

As part of our ongoing growth, we are expanding our technical team and looking for a Full Stack Developer to join our London office and provide technical development skills and experience across a wide variety of digital products and solutions for our clients.  

The chosen candidate will play a pivot role in the rapidly growing Two Circles technology proposition and will be responsible for developing high quality technical products and services across a variety of technologies and clients. 

You will have a track record of designing and delivering high-quality digital solutions over the last 5+ years, and a keen interest in the application of technology in the sports industry.

Key Responsibilities:  

  • Collaborating with your peers and engaging with Software Engineers, Product Managers and stakeholders alike.
  • You will be hands on, building and delivering end-to-end solutions for clients whilst embodying best practise in coding standards.
  • Influencing the design of software architecture..
  • Being an advocate for developer experience and you have a keen interest in continually improving it.
  • This is a hybrid role where you are expected to be in our London office for 2 days a week and occasionally travel to client offices in London and EMEA.

Requirements

  • A minimum of one years experience in software engineering.
  • A strong to desire to continually learn and improve.
  • An understanding grounded in good fundamentals of TypeScript / JavaScript and at least one backend technology such C#, Java or Python etc.
  • An understanding or interest in at least one JavaScript framework such as React, Angular or Vue.js.
  • You know the fundamentals of software architecture and have an understanding of architectural design patterns which can be applied to scalable, microservice systems.
  • An appreciation of devops and platform engineering culture. You don’t just want to write code, you'd like to learn how to build and ship it as well.
  • A flair for simplicity when problem solving.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate to a variety of audiences to explain your solutions and collaborate effectively with others.

Nice to Have

  • A degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • A keen interest in sport and sports business’
