As we move on to new projects, the studio that brought you Baldur’s Gate 3 & Divinity: Original Sin 2 is looking for a</span><b style="font-size: 16px;"> Gameplay Programmer </b><span style="font-size: 12pt;">to join the team and help us in crafting the high calibre games our fans have come to expect.</span></div></br><b>Responsibilities</b></br><li>Work on all aspects of the game: gameplay, UI, audio, animation, scripting, engine features;</li><li>Deliver features ready for testing and review, no matter how many components of the game it touches;</li><li>Work together with almost all content creators to deliver required features;</li><li>Write robust, maintainable, auto-testable code in TDD fashion;</li><li>Be an active participant in the design and production of the game — technical side of the creative team and first line of feedback!

Help scope features and advise on the best ways to implement them;</li><li>Work within an international team on a daily basis, spread between multiple studios across the world.</li></br><b>Requirements</b></br><li>Good understanding of C++:</li><li>Understanding of C++ concepts (such as types, OOP, Memory management etc.);</li><li>Be able to write robust code without infinite loops and memory leaks;</li><li>Strong mathematical skills, especially 3d math, vectors, matrices, etc.;</li><li>Familiarity with game concepts such as state machines, pathfinding, AI, and others;</li><li>Portfolio of personal project(s) developed in C++, including source code not older than 2 years; - does not apply if you have relevant professional gamedev experience</li><li>Projects done during the coursework at university will not count as we would like to see what you like to work on and your level of coding;</li><li>Well spoken and written English;</li><li>Good feel for RPG systems and gameplay in general;</li><li>Open-minded, willing to experiment and iterate over a specific feature;</li><li>You are a team player and willing to take responsibility and ownership;</li><li>You do not hesitate to reach out to stakeholders to clarify requirements or provide feedback, or ideas;</li><li>You are capable of organising yourself and keeping track of your own progress and tasks;</li><li>Passion for making and playing games.</li></br>
