As a Junior Social Media & Content Marketing Specialist (m/f/d), you will be responsible for the strategic and operational development of our social media presence on Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube, as well as the editorial design of our magazine. You will translate topics such as mindfulness, stress reduction, sleep, focus, and emotional health into relevant, inspiring, and high-performing content – ranging from viral video snippets to in-depth magazine articles.
From the initial idea to production and copywriting through to analysis: You think of social media and editorial content holistically and manage to position our brand authentically, clearly, and approachably.
Important Note: This position is being recruited for our Genoa (Italy) location and is intended to be filled on-site. Please only apply if you are willing to relocate to Genoa.
Social Media & Editorial Strategy- Define and execute the social media strategy for 7Mind on Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube (Shorts).
- Create and maintain editorial calendars that cover both our social channels and our magazine, aligned with our brand and marketing goals.
- Ensure a consistent brand voice and visual identity across all channels – from social posts to magazine features.
Content Creation & Management- Produce and oversee high-performing video content with high reach potential, as well as well-researched content for our magazine.
- Develop platform-specific formats and write captivating captions as well as inspiring magazine articles that make our topics tangible.
- Coordinate post-production and plan the targeted distribution of all content.
End-to-End Project Management- Manage content projects holistically from concept to publication (Social & Web).
- Work closely with internal stakeholders (Content, Product, Marketing, Influencer teams) on campaigns, product launches, and feature releases.
Events & Productions- Coordinate and accompany social media coverage for events, fitness productions, and special projects.
- Support content creation directly on-site and prepare highlights editorially.
Community Management- Actively manage and interact with the 7Mind community across all channels.
- Moderate comments and messages promptly and with an empathetic tone.
- Help build a positive, inclusive, and motivated community.
Trends & Innovation- Monitor social media trends and editorial developments in the mental health sector.
- Proactively identify new content opportunities and adapt trends quickly and authentically for the 7Mind brand.
- Track and analyze content performance (reach, engagement, reading time).
Your profile
- Professional Experience: You have initial experience in social media management, content writing, or a comparable role (e.g., editorial work).
- Language & Writing Talent: You have excellent German and English skills (written and spoken) and a talent for captivating storytelling – whether for short captions or long-form articles.
- Platform Expertise: You have sound knowledge of Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube (Shorts), as well as a feel for editorial preparation.
- Content Intuition: You have a strong understanding of video-first content and the ability to translate complex mindfulness topics into engaging text.
- Organizational Talent: Excellent organizational and project management skills characterize you.
- Mindset: You work proactively and creatively, bringing a strong hands-on mentality.
- Passion: You have a deep interest in mental health, fitness, wellbeing, and a healthy lifestyle.
- Relocation: You are ready and motivated to live and work in Genoa.
- Experience with Paid Social or promoting organic content (Boosted Content).
- Experience in social media coverage of live events.
- Familiarity with social media analytics, Content Management Systems (CMS), and common project management tools.
