The Key Account & Distributors Manager – Romania will play a pivotal role in accelerating growth and expanding market presence for the Allergan Aesthetics portfolio across Romania. The Key Account & Distributors Manager will be responsible for identifying and onboarding new customers, unlocking switch opportunities, developing new territories, and driving in-clinic usage and penetration.
The role includes optimizing the current distributor model, enhancing collaboration, and ensuring alignment between Allergan’s commercial strategy and distributor execution. The Manager will act as a bridge between internal stakeholders and external commercial partners to drive sustainable and profitable growth.
Overview of Responsibilities
1. Key Account Management and Expansion
- Identify, target, and convert new customer accounts (clinics, chains, physicians) to drive AA product adoption.
- Lead territory expansion through new market development and switch strategies from competitor brands.
- Build tailored business plans for strategic accounts, with a focus on long-term value and clinic loyalty.
- Monitor performance and take proactive steps to address risks or underperformance in key accounts.
2. Distributor Management and Optimization
- Evaluate and optimize the existing distributor model to ensure efficiency, profitability, and strategic fit.
- Collaborate with distributors to align on business plans, KPIs, forecasts, and execution of national and local strategies.
- Drive structured business reviews with distributors and ensure full alignment on promotional priorities and compliance.
- Strengthen relationships and engagement through regular training, co-visits, and structured communication.
3. Market Development and Coverage Expansion
- Identify white spaces and underdeveloped geographies to expand Allergan Aesthetics’ regional footprint.
- Build relationships with emerging KOLs and decision-makers in new clinics or less penetrated territories.
- Develop and execute tailored activation plans to drive product usage in new and existing clinics.
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, and AMI teams to ensure aligned customer engagement strategies.
- Partner with Finance, Legal, Compliance, and Supply Chain to ensure smooth distributor operations and adherence to policies.
- Work in synergy with the Digital Lead and other field teams to coordinate omnichannel strategies where appropriate.
5. Business Planning and Performance Management
- Develop annual business plans and monthly sales forecasts for key accounts and distributor networks.
- Track and report on key performance indicators, highlighting opportunities and risks with action plans.
- Maintain a strong understanding of market trends, competitor activities, and shifting customer needs.
