Job Summary

Field Operations Crew members are responsible for facilitating key operational tasks associated with the production of LA Galaxy game days and will have a direct role in executing match operations such as presentation, field setup, locker room set up, etc.

Essential Functions

  • Assist with set up/breakdown of LA Galaxy home matches – including, but not limited to gathering materials, setting up and loading out of sideline set up, locker rooms, SoccerFest, etc.
  • Facilitate and assist with match operations – including but not limited to providing timing to teams and referees, management of Ball Kid program, visiting team requests and working with venue and Galaxy staff to fulfill needs.
  • Facilitate and assist with match presentation – including but not limited to providing assistance with set up of on-field halftime activations, load in/out of show materials, etc.
  • Work with other game day staff to manage on-field promotional elements during pregame and halftime.
  • Work directly with venue operations and security teams to manage field-level operations (removal of on-field streamers, management of League-mandated sideline product, etc.).
  • Maintain all match day equipment and supplies in a proper working order and ensure proper communication to management when replacements are needed (on-field flags, hydration product, sideline towels, match balls, radios, etc.).
  • Execute other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or its equivalency (BA/BS Degree Preferred)
  • 0-2 years: Related work experience
  • 0-2 years: Experience working in the Sports / Game Operations / Entertainment industry preferred
  • Must be assertive, proactive, and resourceful with great attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task, meet tight timelines, and work effectively in a high pressure and fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize efficiently and quickly
  • Good interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to professionally communicate and interact with all levels of management, staff, fans, children, players, VIP’s, etc.
  • Effectively handle lifting of various objects weighing in excess of 35 lbs. with assistance from other members of the team
  • Ability to be on your feet for long periods of time and work outdoors in varying weather conditions to include extreme heat or cold.
  • Flexible schedule to allow commitment to all LA Galaxy home game, including some weekends, evenings, and some holidays to meet game/event needs
  • Team Sports/ Soccer interest is a plus

Payscale: $20.00

Bonus: This position is not eligible for a bonus under the current bonus plan requirements.
