Job Description

As a freelance L&D Facilitator / Corporate Trainer at Intellect, you’ll deliver engaging and impactful sessions that inspire positive change in workplaces. You’ll facilitate webinars, seminars, and workshops that empower employees to thrive - building wellbeing, resilience, leadership, and connection in today’s dynamic work environment.

We’re looking for experienced facilitators who are passionate about workplace wellbeing and skilled at bringing content to life through interactive, relatable delivery. There may also be opportunities to contribute to content design and development, working closely with our internal team to shape new learning experiences.

What You’ll Do:

As an L&D Facilitator / Corporate Trainer, you will:

  • Facilitate webinars, seminars, and workshops on wellbeing, leadership, and workplace topics.
  • Deliver Intellect-designed content, adapting your style and examples to suit different audiences and corporate cultures.
  • Create an interactive and engaging learning environment through discussions, polls, reflections, and Q&A.
  • Manage both virtual and onsite delivery, ensuring smooth technical setup and strong audience engagement.
  • Collaborate with Intellect’s Client Success team before sessions — including reviewing slides, aligning on client context, and joining short dry runs.
  • Maintain cultural sensitivity and authenticity in your facilitation.
  • (Optional – compensated) Contribute to content creation or refinement, helping design materials that align with Intellect’s tone, science-based approach, and client needs.

Requirements

  • Preferably based in Sydney (but feel free to apply if you’re based in other cities).
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a trainer, facilitator, coach, or public speaker.
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills — confident, engaging, and personable.
  • Experience leading both small and large group sessions.
  • Proficiency with virtual platforms (Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Lark, Webex).
  • Availability during business hours (9am–6pm) and commitment to attend short prep sessions when required.

Preferred But Not Mandatory Background

  • Professional experience in psychology, counselling, HR, coaching, or organisational development.
  • Prior exposure to corporate or multinational settings.
  • Experience facilitating topics related to wellbeing, resilience, leadership, or workplace culture.
  • Flexibility to travel for onsite sessions within Australia (travel expenses covered).
  • Experience in content design, curriculum development, or instructional design is a plus.
  • Requested Items:
    • Your CV or resume — a short compilation of the types of training or speaking engagements you have conducted, describing the topics as well as the nature and size of the organisations and audiences.
  • Bonus Items:
    • A short cover letter highlighting your facilitation experience and areas of expertise.
    • A sample video (5–10 minutes) of a recent workshop, talk, or training session is encouraged to showcase your facilitation style (optional but appreciated).
