Wargaming is looking for a Lead 3D Artist (Ship skins) to work on World of Warships in our brand-new Belgrade office.

Visual Department is a department dedicated to the development of visual solutions for many aspects of the World of Warships game. The Team creates, assembles, and sets up game locations for game battles.

Also, the Team creates ports and a visual mood for players and in-game objects, FX, and supports the visual content of game events.

What will you do?

• Help the team improve efficiency on their way of constantly making processes and content better
• Risk management and timelines check
• Operating the team load
• Research new content production approaches
• Assist in providing feedback
• Creating unique ship skins
• Assembling ship assets

What are we looking for?

• 3+ years of commercial experience in gamedev
• Experience in a similar position or responsibilities 
• Good knowledge of Blender/Maya, Substance Painter, ZBrush, Adobe Photoshop
• Texturing skills for Physically-Based Rendering
• Understanding of PBR principles
• Confident English knowledge
• Confident Russian knowledge
• Readiness to work in the office in Belgrade, Serbia

What additional skills will help you stand out?

• Skills in optimizing geometry and textures for game projects
• Experience with game engines
• Knowledge of GIT
