About the Role
As the Lead Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for supporting the management of assembly technicians personnel for kitting at our medical device manufacturing and fulfillment center located in Phoenix, Arizona. This role is also responsible for ensuring documentation for build of materials (BOMs) is complete, assembly is performed in accordance with company SOPs, schedule and manage the temporary staff, keep work areas organized and clean, in addition to supporting the enforcement of all policy and procedures. Also, works closely with the quality control team ensuring the quality standard meets company expectations. This role reports directly to the Operations Manager.
What You'll Do:Manage, schedule, supervise and train assembly personnel, including temporary staff Develop and manage schedules for assembly technician staff to support production goals Partner with Operations Manager assigning BOMs to trained personnel Ensure assembly staff properly complete BOMs in order to ensure compliance with auditsCollaborate with Quality Control to ensure production by assembly technicians meets compliance standards Support enforcement of all SOPs, including use of PPEUpdate inventory management system, Netsuite, to reflect accurate production quantitiesEnsure defective or unusable inventory is reported accordingly in NetsuiteOrder supplies when needed: PPE, ISO, cleaning supplies, etc.What You'll Bring to the Team:Experience managing temporary and full-time personnel Excellent written and verbal communication skills Experience with inventory management software (Netsuite, Katana, Monday, etc.) Experience in writing, updating, training, implementing SOP’sAbility to complete time and validation studies and set pace for work force Ro recognizes the power of in-person collaboration, while supporting the flexibility to work anywhere in the United States. For our Ro’ers in the tri-state (NY) area, you will join us at HQ on Tuesdays and Thursdays. For those outside of the tri-state area, you will be able to join in-person collaborations throughout the year (i.e., during team on-sites).
