Job Overview

Wargaming is looking for а Lead Automation QA to work on World of Warships in our Belgrade office.

The Automation QA Team is responsible for writing new and keeping existing automation tests up to date with the development of the application; extending and improving our automation framework; automation the other team’s routine work to save their time. 

What will you do?

  • Managing the Automation QA Team
  • Continuously optimize workflows and methods
  • Develop and maintain automated tests for functional and stability testing on Python
  • Maintaining the functionality of the test infrastructure (Windows and Linux)
  • Support and development of automation tools
  • Support documentation according to existing autotests and tools
  • Collaborate with other department teams and provide support according to test results
  • Be involved in developing & maintaining CI/CD software
  • Dig deeper into the test automation for individual game modules, processing of test results, or preparing a test environment

What are we looking for?

  • 2+ years of team lead experience
  • Confident knowledge of Python (language’s tips and tricks, restrictions, working with memory, GIL, system of modules and imports, generators, decorators)
  • Strong knowledge of Pytest
  • Strong analytical skills, ability to get deep into root causes of problems, and to offer system-wide decisions
  • Experience using Jenkins or similar tools
  • Experience in Git / SVN
  • Experience with bug-tracking systems
  • Intermediate English or higher
  • Readiness to work in Belgrade (We help with relocation)

What additional skills will help you stand out?

  • Experience in Java/Groovy/Flask/VueJS/FastAPI/TypeScript 
  • Experience working with Docker and Linux-based systems 
  • Experience working with SQL, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, Grafana 
  • Experience working with Ansible 
  • Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills 

Work mode

Hybrid (3 days of work from the office)
