About the Role
As a Software Engineer you will be responsible for the system to work behind the scenes. Your role will be to integrate the application with all required systems and services and provide clean and easy to use API for the frontend part of the system.
ResponsibilitiesWork closely with frontend developers to design and develop functional, robust APIs to support internal and customer needsWrite both unit and integration tests, and develop automation tools for daily tasksDevelop high quality, well documented, and efficient code Manage and optimize scalable distributed systems in the cloudOptimize internal and external applications for performance and scalabilityDevelop automated tests to ensure business needs are met, and write both unit and integration testsCommunicate regularly with stakeholders, project managers, quality assurance teams, and other developers regarding progress on long-term technology roadmapRecommend systems solutions by comparing advantages and disadvantages of custom development and purchased alternatives
Key Skills (Domain Expertise)6+ years of experience as a backend developer in common languages and frameworks (e.g. NodeJS), functional programming in Scala Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or Engineering
