We are looking for a Lead Game Designer to join the World of Warships: Legends team.

World of Warships: Legends is a cross-platform gaming project available on consoles, PC, and mobile.

It is a free-to-play naval action MMO that puts players in command of some of the most iconic ships in history. From agile destroyers to mighty battleships, players can choose from a variety of classes and nations as they battle it out on the high seas.

The project is driven by highly qualified professionals who combine their talent with a passion for video games. As a result, our game has become a beloved hobby for millions worldwide, with a community that keeps growing every day!

What will you do?

• Manages the activities of a game design team.
• Guides, develops, and manages the implementation of game design, including the definition of elements and components such as setting, structure, rules, story flow, interface design, and modes of play.
• Ensures that game design efforts remain within time and budget constraints.
• Guides vision for approval from concept design through prototype and market preparation for the game with help from programmers, producers, and others.
• Oversees the development of required design documentation to support full production.
• Adjusts original game specifications based on technical constraints.
• Provides direction to a team of artists, animators, and programmers who build out the final product; ensures full understanding of the original concept and vision.
• Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel, ensuring the efficient operation of the function.

What are we looking for?

• 5+ years of working experience.
• Broad knowledge of the F2P market and consumer expectations.
• Capable of balancing complex game systems and economies.
• Excellent understanding of game mechanics.
• Proficient at designing user interfaces and user flows.
• Ability to understand and analyze game metrics and process data.
• Upper-intermediate level of English or higher.

Work mode

• Hybrid (3 days of work from the office).
• This role is eligible for relocation & immigration support.
