Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize mathematical models for slot machines in collaboration with game designers and mathematicians. 
• Code simulations in our proprietary engine (C++) to aid the verification and playtesting of games. 
• Conduct statistical analysis on new and existing games to provide quantitative analysis as it relates to player experience. 
• Work with a global team to implement and verify game components in a fast-paced development cycle. 
• Deliver unique and exciting game experiences; engage and entice the player with “the ride” and consider the player’s universal experience in every design decision. 
• Demonstrate independence, accountability, and integrity; follow through on commitments and communicate dependencies as they arise. 
• Develop successful relationships: Develop alliances across the organization to foster positive communication and cultivate elegant solutions to complex problems. 
• Build ideas based off solid business rationale: Apply solid design practices to support each product and feature with respect to their business goals. 

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science or related degree. 
• Extensive knowledge of mathematical and statistical modeling, combinatorics, and probability theory. 
• Strong experience in Microsoft Excel and object-oriented programming (C++ preferred). 
• 3+ years of experience designing and delivering math for slot machines (land-based or social). 
• Must love making and playing games!
