The Lead - Sneaker Key Account Marketing, EMEA is responsible for On's brand development, positioning, and consumer growth at JD Sports across Europe. 

You will use your marketing expertise to partner with the retailer as well as cross-functionally with Brand Studio, Brand Comms, Ecom, Sales, Merchandising and Brand Activation teams to craft and deliver thoughtful marketing plans. You will bring On's mission to life for our consumers by authentically creating memorable moments that drive brand affinity and lead to commercial growth. This will be achieved by successfully fusing your brand, retail, event, influencer, and digital marketing skills.

You will collaborate closely with the Key Account Managers for JD Group, and On’s regional counterparts to craft and bring to life the marketing strategy. This role reports into the Sr. Lead - Sneaker Key Account Marketing,  Europe and can be located within proximity to London or Manchester.

With our finger firmly on the pulse of the community, our mission is to collaborate with our regional retailer partners to create bold, culture-shaping moments for our consumers that are worth talking about, drive brand awareness, and ultimately lead to commercial success by helping them find products they love and a brand they resonate with.

Your Mission

  • Account Marketing Plan Development: Develop and execute the marketing strategy for JD Sports, ensuring alignment with Brand Studio, Sales, and Brand Activation Teams. 
  • Build Consumer Connection: Drive initiatives to build a robust grassroots consumer connection in key sneaker cities across EMEA, ensuring we drive both brand awareness and brand relevance with consumers in places where trends start. 
  • Co-Created Campaign Creation: Work in partnership with the Brand Studio (Creative Lead, Copy, Art Direction) to develop engaging campaigns and connect our tech centered product storytelling with the cultures we serve. 
  • Elevate In-Store Experience: Collaborate with the Sr. Lead Retail Marketing EMEA to develop innovative Point-of-Sale (POS) tools that elevate our brand experience within our partners' physical stores.
  • Full-Funnel Ecommerce Growth: Use your digital marketing expertise to bring a full-funnel approach to your activations and drive e-commerce growth with partners.
  • Build Strong Partnerships: Be On's lead marketing partner working with an external partner in a complex and fast moving environment
  • Cross Functional Collaboration:  Use your natural leadership abilities to bring people together around a common mission by being able to clearly communicate your goals, and vision for the project and provide clear organizational leadership and clear decision making to see your projects come to life.  

YOUR PROFILE

  • Typically brings around 7 years of progressive experience in marketing, sales, and/or e-commerce roles. Experience in the fashion, lifestyle, or sporting goods industries—especially within the sneaker market, is preferred.
  • Comfortable and confident engaging with a range of stakeholders, including senior leaders at key accounts, with strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Action-oriented and adaptable, with a creative, innovative approach and a strong understanding of business strategy and commercial impact.
  • Demonstrated experience leading or contributing to digital marketing initiatives, particularly within e-commerce environments.
    Able to manage projects from strategy to execution, taking a hands-on approach when needed.
    Understands the power of brand storytelling and how to bring narratives to life across various channels and platforms.
  • Self-motivated, solutions-focused, and organized, with the ability to balance multiple projects and deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Brings a consumer-first mindset and leverages insights and data to inform strategies and decisions.
  • Open to regular travel based on business needs.
