This role leads and supervises electrical execution across Air MI facilities and is part of the Production Equipment Engineering team within Manufacturing Operations. It partners closely with Maintenance and Facilities to ensure electrical systems reliability, safe operation, and compliance with applicable codes and standards. Shift: Office schedule, Monday–Friday (8 hours/day). The ideal candidate combines deep electrical expertise with • strong leadership capability.
You will guide electricians and technicians, support facility and engineering initiatives, and ensure all electrical work is performed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with Oregon electrical codes. This role requires strong decision-making, high autonomy, and the ability to balance daily operational execution with long-term system reliability, safety, and performance improvement. Required Skills & Experience • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience (e.g., completion of a recognized electrical apprenticeship program, Journeyman Electrician certification, military electrical training, or equivalent industrial experience). • Valid State of Oregon Supervising Electrician License. • 8+ years of industrial electrical • experience in manufacturing environments. • • Proven experience leading electrical work and supervising teams. • Advanced troubleshooting of industrial electrical systems • Strong knowledge of: o NEC (NFPA 70) o Oregon Electrical Specialty Code (OESC) o NFPA 70E (Electrical Safety in the Workplace) o Lockout/Tagout (OSHA 1910.147) o Arc flash safety and hazard analysis • QEW (Qualified Electrical Worker) certification or equivalent • • Strong leadership, communication, and technical decision-making skills • Demonstrated experience working cross-functionally in production environments Preferred Skills & Experience • Experience working with vendors and managing electrical contractors, including scope coordination and quality oversight • Experience with transformer configuration, installation, and power distribution systems WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON At Nike Air Manufacturing Innovation, you will lead electrical reliability and execution across advanced manufacturing facilities.
