We are seeking an experienced and strategic Litigation Legal Counsel to manage and oversee the company’s litigation matters. This role will be responsible for developing litigation strategies, handling certain cases directly, coordinating with external law firms, and ensuring proper documentation and case management across all disputes.
Main responsibilities• Develop and implement litigation strategies aligned with the company’s legal and business objectives.
• Draft comprehensive legal memoranda analyzing relevant laws, regulations, and case precedents, and provide well-reasoned legal recommendations to support strategic business and litigation decisions.
• Assess legal risks and provide strategic advice to senior management.
• Manage and represent the company in selected litigation cases directly, including drafting pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
• Gather, review, and organize relevant documents and evidence for ongoing and potential litigation matters.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to collect information, ensure factual accuracy, and maintain comprehensive case files.
• Liaise with and oversee external law firms handling litigation matters on behalf of the company.
• Prepare and transmit necessary documentation, case materials, and strategic guidance to external counsel.
• Monitor performance of external counsel, review legal opinions, and manage litigation budgets.
• Ensure compliance with procedural deadlines and regulatory requirements.
• Provide periodic reports and updates on litigation status and exposure.
• Identify opportunities for dispute resolution, including settlement negotiations and alternative dispute resolution (ADR).
Experience & qualifications required• Law degree (LL.B., J.D., or equivalent) and admission to the relevant Bar.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in litigation, preferably at a law firm.
• Strong experience in drafting legal strategy and procedural documents.
• Proven ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
• Experience working with and supervising external counsel.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
• High level of organization and attention to detail.
• Advanced English proficiency

- Athletes participating in competitions organized by entities within the National Sports System;
Individuals diagnosed with gambling addiction, according to a diagnosis from a qualified mental health professional.
