Cat Daddy Games is growing and seeking a Live Operations Specialist to join our team. Cat Daddy Games is more than just a mobile video game company; we are a passionate and close-knit team of creators. With our focus on live service projects like WWE SuperCard and NBA 2K Mobile, we constantly strive to deliver engaging and unforgettable moments for our players.

This position is hybrid with in-office time required each week.

What We Need:

The Live Ops Specialist plays a critical role in the success and operational health of our mobile titles. As the game’s execution expert, the Live Operations Specialist is responsible for implementing, deploying, and running in-game events, sales, and promotions.

Working closely with various game team members, the Live Operations Specialist boosts player engagement and monetization over a game’s lifetime, by reliably and precisely deploying a seamless flow of in-game content releases.

What You Will Do:

  • Implement in-game and web content releases in collaboration with another Live Ops Specialist on the team
  • Ensure the in-game actions, communication, and promotions are set up, tested, approved, and released. Follow-up post-release to verify clean deployment
  • Collaborate with the game team members on in-game content strategies and determine how to execute those plans with available resources and tools
  • Collaborate with a wide variety of departments (internal and external) as needed: designers, artists, producers, community managers, QA, localization, marketing, etc.
  • Identify risks and resolve problems quickly, providing support to the rest of the team
  • Strategically brainstorm, collaborate, and implement operational improvements and efficiencies

Who We Think Will Be A Great Fit:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience working on a live game operated as a service, or similar experience in a similar industry
  • General understanding of free to play mobile game mechanics
  • Fast learner who takes pride in mastering tools and processes
  • Driven to consistently deliver results and go above and beyond with a high level of personal responsibility for work quality
  • Detail oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to solve problems and execute plans using a combination of common sense, creative (outside the box) and analytical thinking
  • Demonstrate good judgment, prioritization, and decision-making skills under pressure
  • Great communicator with the ability to build positive relationships
  • Dedicated team player, who is willing to do what it takes for the success of the team as well as the game
  • Passion for gaming!
  • Experience with Perforce, Test Track Pro (Perforce Helix ALM), and/or JIRA is a plus
  • Proficiency with general code parsing (html, json) and/or basic knowledge of programming languages

The pay range for this position in Washington at the start of employment is expected to be between $61,000 - $91,000 per year. However, base pay offered is based on market location, and may vary further depending on individualized factors for job candidates, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to those same considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a bonus and/or equity awards and eligibility to participate in our 401(K) plan, in addition to a full range of medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees will also receive 14 paid holidays per calendar year, [for exempt employees are eligible for unlimited discretionary time off] [for non-exempt employees, are eligible for up to 22 days of vacation leave per year (subject to proration based on start date during the calendar year)], and will receive 10 sick days per calendar year. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an "at-will position" and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation or benefit program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
