Job Overview

As a dedicated Localization Specialist, you will participate in the localization of game clients and content for Wargaming.net.

Reports To

Head of Localization&QA/Customer Support, APAC

What will you do?

• Responsible for localizing all the in-game assets including text, image, and audio.

• Localize, and/or edit collateral materials related to games.

• Review and fine-tune translated text by verifying the integrity of the text in the game

• Work closely with internal localization staff as well as related teams to help all projects meet deadlines with the finest quality

What are we looking for?

• Localization Specialist for Traditional Chinese region, proficiency in Mandarin and Traditional Chinese is a must (listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills)

• Fluent in English listening, speaking, reading and writing skills

• Advance level of skills in translating, editing, and proofreading

• Excellent traditional Chinese spelling and grammar

 What additional skills will help you stand out?

• 1+ years in game translation

• Bachelor’s degree major in English and literature

• Passion for games especially military genre

• Knowledge of game or software localization and localization tools
