Every day, tens of millions of people come to Roblox to explore, create, play, learn, and connect with friends in 3D immersive digital experiences– all created by our global community of developers and creators.

At Roblox, we’re building the tools and platform that empower our community to bring any experience that they can imagine to life. Our vision is to reimagine the way people come together, from anywhere in the world, and on any device. We’re on a mission to connect a billion people with optimism and civility, and looking for amazing talent to help us get there.

A career at Roblox means you’ll be working to shape the future of human interaction, solving unique technical challenges at scale, and helping to create safer, more civil shared experiences for everyone.

We’re looking for a Localization Program Manager with deep expertise in localization quality assurance (LQA) to ensure our products deliver consistent, culturally relevant, and error-free experiences in every market. This role will be responsible for building, managing, and optimizing the localization QA process — from defining quality standards to coordinating testing with internal teams and external partners. You will work with product, engineering, linguistic, and vendor teams to uphold the highest quality bar for localized content.

Role is based in San Mateo, CA and will report to Sr. Manager, Localization

You will:

  • Own the end-to-end localization QA strategy for products, features, and updates for the international group
  • Lead LQA projects across Roblox, prioritizing tasks and managing dependencies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, engineering and FQA) to define testing requirements and test plans.
  • Coordinate and manage localization QA activities across multiple platforms (web, mobile, software UI, documentation, etc.).
  • Ensure proper escalation of issues for resolution across groups
  • Work closely with external vendors to communicate requirements and assess performance.
  • Manage relationships with QA vendors to ensure thorough and consistent testing.
  • Create and monitor quality KPIs, generate scorecards, dashboards and reports to inform international group leadership of the quality of the products globally
  • Track and report defect trends, and resolution rates and analyze metrics to identify areas needing additional testing and create detailed quality reports.
  • Own the Bug lifecycle from reporting, escalation and verification.
  • Participate in cross-functional meetings and initiatives as a representative of the LQA or L10n team.
  • Partner with engineering teams to ensure test environments and tools support efficient QA workflows.
  • Continuously refine processes to improve efficiency, quality, and turnaround times.

You have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics, Localization, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years in localization program management and QA, ideally in a tech or software development environment.
  • Strong understanding of localization QA methodologies, including both linguistic and functional testing.
  • Experienced in testing web and mobile applications
  • Knowledge with Selenium, JavaScript, Python, and scripting automation tasks
  • Experienced in using JIRA and GitHub for project management and version control
  • Experience with Automation frameworks
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work cross-functionally across cultures and time zones.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Fluency in English; additional languages a plus.
