As a Test Lead, you will:  

  • Construct and execute rigorous test plans that meet clients' expectations and are in line with Keywords' quality targets.
  • Manage their execution and ensure the required level of test coverage attained in each test phase.
  • Ensure that test cases/checklists are constantly maintained and updated.
  • Triage and verify incoming bug reports and forward them to the correct assignee.
  • Review the reported bugs for completeness, consistency and clarity, ensuring compliance to clients' guidelines.
  • Ensure that no major bugs, flaws or issues remain in the signed-off product and report them or concerns as early as possible, ensure that the final product is compliant with the official standards and ready for submission.
  • Enjoy pursuing and solving problems, escalate critical risks and issues to the Project Manager and provide suggestions on how to resolve them.
  • Timely and professional customer communication.
  • Daily supervision of all test team members and provide weekly reports about the status of the project.
  • Follow up on weekly reports, having one-to-one feedback sessions with team members on a regular basis.
  • Training of new team members and sharing knowledge and experience with the team; ensuring that the team is productive.
  • Execute a post-mortem report highlighting general project info, potentials for improvement, lessons learned and suggestions for future projects.

Requirements

  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
  • At ease with video calls, able to communicate with the client if necessary.
  • Demonstrated experience in personnel management.
  • Time Management skills.
  • Technically competent with various software suites: Office (mostly Excel) and databases (Jira, Bonsai, Helix, etc.) is a good addition.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Good handling of stress and deadlines.
  • Strong mentoring skills.
  • Ability to take the initiative in the preparation and execution of daily tasks.
  • Patience and approachability with other team members.
  • Conflict resolution skills.
  • Good delegation skills.
