SUMMARY

The Manager of Capital Project Planning will support all stages of planning, budgeting, and execution of arena, venue, and facility improvements across BSE Global. This includes repair, maintenance, replacement, renovation, and installation of building equipment, systems, and technology.

The ideal candidate brings a strong architectural design foundation and experience driving CAPEX projects from concept through completion—overseeing timelines, budgets, and safety while ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. This role partners closely with the Capital Projects team, Finance, and internal and external stakeholders and reports to the Senior Director of Capital Projects.

What You Will Do

  • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables for capital projects across multiple facilities.
  • Conduct feasibility studies to evaluate project viability and long-term value.
  • Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, resource needs, and sequencing.
  • Build and manage capital project budgets; track and forecast costs, proactively identifying potential overruns.
  • Create and maintain project schedules; monitor progress and mitigate potential delays.
  • Oversee execution and ensure projects meet quality, safety, and compliance standards.
  • Serve as a liaison between internal departments, external contractors, vendors, and public entities.
  • Ensure all projects align with stakeholder needs, strategic priorities, and organizational goals.
  • Identify project risks and develop effective mitigation strategies; monitor risks through the project life cycle.
  • Contribute to long-term capital planning and multi-year project roadmapping.
  • Support management of the overall capital project portfolio, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
  • Provide ongoing reporting, documentation, and communication to leadership.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in operations or construction management; sports/entertainment venue experience preferred.
  • Experience in AutoCAD and/or Revit required.
  • Degree in Architecture or Construction Management preferred.
  • Proficiency managing scope, budget, and timelines for large-scale capital projects.
  • Strong construction background; experience with multi-property portfolios a plus.
  • Experience with risk assessment, mitigation strategies, and contractor/partner management.
  • Proven success delivering complex CAPEX projects on time and within budget while managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Compensation

$95,000 – $110,000 base salary

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This role is based in our corporate headquarters in Brooklyn and requires flexibility to support projects that may occur in the evenings, weekends, or holidays. 

Travel Requirements: May require occasional travel, which may include air travel and/or overnight stays.
