Overview /Objective 

The Financial Planning and Analysis team manages company-wide budgeting and forecasting.  This includes operational costs, as well as capital and cash planning. 

This is an extremely exciting opportunity to drive future growth at the National Football League and is a great position for anyone that is interested in the business of sports and wants to learn in an extremely fast-paced and dynamic environment. 

The Manager will report to the VP of Financial Planning and Analysis and will lead multiple company-wide financial and operational planning cycles. 

Responsibilities 

  • Lead company-wide capex planning 
  • Manage multiple company-wide proforma P&Ls with a focus on identifying areas of opportunities to improve efficiency and profitability 
  • Learn and assist with the Company’s financial planning software 
  • Drive competitive benchmarking process and provide strategic recommendations on opportunities for growth  
  • Assist in quarterly business reviews by identifying key business drivers and trends that can be used to drive decision making across the Company 
  • Support the building and management of annual operating plan, quarterly and real-time forecasts, as well as deliverables for senior leaders  

Required Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university 
  • Strong skills in Excel and PowerPoint 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Minimum 5 years of work experience relating to budgeting, forecasting, and analytics 
  • Experience building and managing financial models  
  • Experience working with financial planning software and tools  
  • Strong attention to detail 
  • Excellent communicator with the ability to work cross-functionally 

Terms / Expected Hours of Work 

NFL employees are required to work 40 hours per week.  

Salary / Pay Range

The NFL expects to hire for this position near the middle of the range. Only in truly rare and exceptional circumstances, where an external candidate has experience, credentials or expertise that far exceed those required or expected for the position, would the NFL consider paying a salary or rate near the higher end of the range. 

Salary
$100,000$145,000 USD
