Overview /Objective 

The NFL is looking for a Manager with football and technology knowledge to join an innovative team of solutions specialists. The team is responsible for the timely delivery of software and hardware solutions for sideline and media technologies at the NFL. We work closely with multiple NFL departments to design and develop custom solutions to satisfy our ever-growing customer needs.   

We are looking for an extremely driven and detail-oriented person interested in working on a focused team to deliver successful solutions to stadiums and internal stakeholders. You will have a strong technical background to understand the solutions being deployed as well as making sure the solutions continue to operate successfully throughout the lifetime of the solution. The successful candidate is a self-starter with ownership attitude and a good communicator that is able to work within a team that delivers cutting edge solutions on tight deadlines. This is an excellent opportunity to get involved in innovating and supporting the game day activities of the NFL.  

Responsibilities 

  • Work with Stadium Football Technology Manager in planning and execution against the comprehensive “up-keep” required for the infrastructure and physical technology at all 30 NFL Stadiums, non-NFL venues and International events where NFL games are played throughout the entire calendar year.    
  • Manage and maintain all aspects of Football Technology vendor relationships including, onboarding, working with IT contracts team to deploy SOW’s.   
  • Assist with scheduling for Summer Installations/Certifications, this includes communicating to stadiums/Clubs regarding installation and ad hoc site visits for troubleshooting/maintenance.    
  • Assist with creation of all documentation related to summer installation/certification documentation.    
  • Manage general maintenance of physical equipment at each stadium.   
  • Assist with GDA management including, onboarding, training, credentials and parking.  
  • Review weekly gameday technician post-game reports – see all incidences through to resolution.  
  • Craft and circulate Football Technology monthly game day newsletter to all on-site technicians.   
  • Manage the triage process on game days, document issues and work with team to ensure appropriate follow up for resolution. Assist with GDA credentialing and parking operations.  
  • Draft Football Technology communications to stadiums, GDA’s, vendors, etc.  
  • Assist with planning and logistics for non-NFL venue and international games.    
  • Assist leadership with business planning and budgeting  
  • Support Senior Managers with operations & logistics   

Required Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s Degree required 
  • Minimum 5 years work experience. At least 2-3 years of experience working with stadium infrastructures, and game day troubleshooting preferred 
  • Knowledge of American Football  
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team  
  • Ability to focus on the big picture and long-term strategy  
  • Superior interpersonal skills to establish trusted advisor status with internal stakeholders and external partners  
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (a must)  
  • Ability to work on tight deadlines

Physical Demands 

  • Installing and Certifying our Stadium communication Technology Stack requires physical/manual work  
  • In Season – Weekend work required to support and manage technology on game days  

Travel 

  • 25% Travel Requirement – Travel required to stadiums, offsite meetings / events, business partners, on-site testing at partner facilities  

Salary / Pay Range 

This job posting contains a pay range, which represents the range of salaries or hourly rates that the NFL believes, in good faith, at the time of this posting that it might be willing to pay for the posted job in the location(s) specified. The NFL expects to hire for this position near the middle of the range. Only in truly rare and exceptional circumstances, where an external candidate has experience, credentials or expertise that far exceed those required or expected for the position, would the NFL consider paying a salary or rate near the higher end of the range.  

Terms / Expected Hours of Work 

  • NFL employees are required to work 40 hours per week  
  • In Season – Game Shift schedule will be created to account for game support  
Salary
$100,000$140,000 USD
