Job Description

This position will lead the management of the marketing strategy and execution for collegiate institutions in a designated tier of annual marketing spend. The position works closely with the Partnerships team, along with other internal departments, to strategize, build and execute marketing programs, both locally and nationally, that promote the sale of collegiate licensed products. Proactivity, time management and strategic thinking is necessary for this role and the team around it to be successful. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Work cooperatively in a team environment to serve the marketing needs of three territories. Sets overarching marketing strategy for client institutions based on strategic plans from the Partnerships division Work alongside a team, with leadership responsibility, over a group of retailers to develop a strategy promoting the overall growth of college Lead the brainstorming, idea generation and plan development of annual strategic marketing plans to meet client goals Manage one direct report who will provide assistance in the planning and execution of all marketing programs for the three assigned territories. Draft briefs to instruct, inspire and direct marketing plans and creative direction Build trust from clients by providing strategic and innovative approaches to marketing problems Ensure adherence to detailed statements-of-work for all marketing services rendered for clients Effectively present marketing plans to internal and external clients, showing an ability to sell-in concepts to key decision-makers Offer a unique point-of-view to be able to provide necessary critique of strategies, ideas and creative Utilize internal project management system to manage projects, ensuring team stays on time and within budget Manage and oversee client communication regarding all marketing programs Develop impactful program recaps that justify the resources used to execute the marketing programs on behalf of clients, with the responsibility of crafting critical key learnings and next steps Read and understand performance data, using the findings to influence future decisions. Occasional travel (approximately 5%) is necessary for client meetings, industry events and project execution.

Minimum Qualifications

2+ years of professional consumer marketing experience Ability and desire to think strategically and be creative Abiity to professionally and effectively communciare in writing and verbally to all levels of leadership internal and external to the business Ability to designe and deliver presentations A high degree of integrity and trust in interpersonal interactions Servant leadership style Outstanding people management skills to include development and performacne management Ability to manager multiple deadlines Lead in an environment of constant change Preferred

Qualifications

Experience working at an agency, brand or property preferred
