We are seeking a high-ownership Manager, Retail Sales who will play a critical role in building and scaling our retail go-to-market engine. The Role The Manager, Retail Sales is responsible for supporting and executing BODi’s retail expansion strategy across key accounts and channels. This role will translate brand momentum into retail distribution, velocity, and profitable growth. Success in this role requires both strategic thinking and hands-on execution, with heavy cross-functional coordination across retailers, brokers, and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities Retailer & Broker Leadership (Primary Focus) Coordinate cross-functionally with retail partners and external broker teams to drive distribution and execution Manage day-to-day relationships with key retail accounts and broker partners Ensure strong in-store execution and program compliance Partner with brokers to drive accountability, priorities, and performance Support line reviews, buyer meetings, and retail presentations Retail Strategy & Execution Support and execute BODi’s retail go-to-market strategy Drive distribution expansion across priority retail partners Help develop retailer-specific channel strategies Translate brand initiatives into compelling retail selling stories Support new item launches and retail readiness Business Performance & Analytics Monitor velocity, turns, ACV, and weeks of supply Identify risks and opportunities across the retail business Support demand planning and forecast accuracy Track promotional effectiveness and trade performance Provide regular business updates and insights Cross-Functional Leadership Partner with marketing on retail programming and launches Collaborate with supply chain on inventory planning Work with finance on forecast alignment and planning Support commercialization and product launch readiness Other Functions Limited travel required for key customer meetings and industry events Education Bachelor’s Degree required Required Knowledge Strong understanding of the CPG, sports nutrition, or functional wellness landscape Working knowledge of retail math (velocity, turns, trade spend, WOS) Familiarity with broker model and retail selling processes Experience Required 5–8+ years of experience in retail sales, national accounts, or CPG commercialization Experience working directly with brokers and retail buyers Proven track record supporting retail growth initiatives Experience in sports nutrition, functional beverage, or adjacent category strongly preferred Skills & Abilities Positive attitude and strong ownership mindset Highly self-motivated with critical attention to detail Strong analytical, prioritization, and problem-solving skills Excellent interpersonal and cross-functional collaboration skills Strong presentation and communication skills Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, build-mode environment Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) Ability to work both autonomously and within a team Beachbody, LLC is an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, ancestry, national origin, citizenship status, religion, creed, age, physical or mental disability, sex, gender (including pregnancy, childbirth, breastfeeding or related medical conditions), sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, medical condition, genetic information, marital status, military and veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, or local law.
