We are currently looking for a Manager to lead our Content team.
About The Role:
Lead and manage the operations of our Content Team. Our mission is to enrich the world’s best Entertainment Database at scale. The teams are responsible for the curation of synopsis and metadata, research and collection of the best representative images from studios, distributors, vendors, and related sources in a timely manner, and quality control of content. The ideal candidate will be responsible for establishing and maintaining high-performing quality-focused teams with a positive culture. They come with outstanding leadership skills, boundless optimism, a strong growth mindset, and are passionate about building an elite team. An interest in Entertainment and Sports is preferred.
Responsibilities:
• Operations management - Ensures Enrichment teams follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), escalation policies, business policies, and delivery timeliness and quality
• Communicates and executes organizational vision
• Creates/manages capacity plans across international teams and locations
• Manages escalations to ensure business continuity as well as working on continuous improvement
• Analyses data and based on this, plans and improves processes within the team. Familiar with global processes and has valuable input for improvement. Ready to implement global practices locally
• Participates in planning company/department goals, objectives, and missions. Coaching and day-to-day interaction as to the progress of the group and the individual associate and promote positive teamwork
• Leadership - sets the overall direction for the teams. Responsible for the day-to-day management of the teams. Planning resources, strategy, scheduling, and coordination of projects and overseeing the implementation
• Excellent people manager and talent multiplier. Promotes positive teamwork and an engaging and motivating work environment
• Manages associates' goals/expectations, performance reviews, performance improvement, celebrates achievement
• Promotes positive interaction and collaboration across horizontals to promote efficiency and quality
• Quality control - works closely with the Quality Office to promote and maintain a quality-first mindset in the teams and to support continuous quality improvement
•Accountable for working with required stakeholder groups to drive and enable change, communicate changes, and manage challenges
Requirements/Qualifications:
• Excellent professional English language
• 4+ years of people management experience and/or demonstrate progressive growth as an excellent people manager and talent multiplier
• Excellent communication skills
• Track record of providing inspirational leadership to international teams and demonstrated leadership skills of shift teams distributed across multiple geographic locations
• Four-year degree in a related field (management, psychology, research field of study or comparable course workload in computer science, statistics, behavioral science, market research, business, and people management.)
• Experience dealing with support teams, project teams, and business partners to ensure a close working relationship with the operational teams
• Experience in project management
• Able to champion the transformation of ideas into realities.
• Ability to identify problems, determine root cause(s) & make recommendations to resolve with some supervision
• Proven experience in promoting best practices and automation opportunities
• Strong experience working in content operations and in a multicultural/fast-paced environment with high standards
• Experience in change management
• Maintains composure when under stress, makes ethical decisions in line with the business values and objectives
• Perceived as a leader by others, persuades and negotiates effectively, and focuses on win-win outcomes.

• Takes and drives accountability of self and team (behaviors, timelines, etc…)
• Ready to work in a 24/7 operation, including evening, night, and weekend shifts.
• The role is hybrid, so you must live near Nielsen’s office. Hybrid Workers are those employees who are working partially from home which is in the same city as the Nielsen office they are employed with and partially from a Nielsen office/site.
