Bungie is looking for a Senior 3D Art Outsource Character Artist who will work closely with the Art Outsource Lead and Art Director on the team’s ExDev art efforts for 3D Character assets such as championing character design to character armor/accessories for the game. As a Sr. Art Outsource 3D Character Artist, you will be responsible for all aspects of strategizing, implementing, and executing 3D character workflow and integration between ExDev studios and internal teams. You will support and advocate the game’s art direction and goals for the 3D Character art content we will create with ExDev studios. Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Art Director and the Art Outsource Lead to align visual quality and communicate goals for ExDev 3D Character content expectations
• Partner with other disciplines to create 3D Character assets that fulfill the visual style and gameplay goals
• Advocate, inspire, and ensure that ExDev 3D Character assets are consistent with defined visual style for the game with other creatives
• Ensure ongoing timely feedback to ExDev partners working on art assets.
• Accurately estimate the time necessary to complete individual art assets.
• Create and/or modify existing assets, as necessary.
• Work closely with cross discipline teams to identify and collaborate on ExDev and in-house pipeline innovations
• Document and facilitate the 3D Character workflow between ExDev and in-house

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Strong understanding of human anatomy, product, and industrial design
• Expert knowledge of 3D Max or Maya, Blender, Substance Painter, Photoshop, and/or Zbrush
• Proficient with high to low poly pipelines
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment and participate in constructive critiques, giving and receiving feedback
• Outstanding ability to problem-solve and drive creative solutions
• Be task driven, self-motivated, and proactive
