THE POSITION
Our roster has an opening with your name on it

You will become a critical member of the Canadian marketing team responsible for growing FanDuel Sportsbook and Casino in Ontario, through partnerships and public relations. Through this role, you will gain exposure to partnership marketing with a focus on leagues, teams, talent and events. You will also support the public relations team by crafting internal and external communications. This role will work closely with the broader marketing team (media, brand, content and growth) in addition to key cross-functional stakeholders in business operations, commercial, product, and analytics.

THE GAME PLAN
Everyone on our team has a part to play

  • Support the partnerships team with day-to-day partner communications, program tracking and reporting
  • Assist with the execution of partner activations and events
  • Support the public relations team with craft messaging, public relations strategies and strategic communications
  • Research trends in our industry as well as monitoring competitor activity
  • Prepare marketing materials for presentations for internal and external meetings
  • Assist with organizing marketing team meetings and operations
  • Lend your skills to various teams withing the marketing department (media, content and brand) as required

THE STATS
What we're looking for in our next teammate

  • Actively pursuing a degree in marketing, business, sports, communications or public relations fields with a strong GPA
  • Very strong proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel and other analytical tools
  • Strong understanding of the North American sports landscape
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to change writing styles to fit the audience
  • A keen interest in sports marketing
  • Demonstrate passion for the industry

The applicable hourly rate for this position is $30 CAD, which is dependent on a variety of factors including relevant experience, location, business needs and market demand.
