At Klang, we create products that inspire people to deepen their understanding of the emergent nature of society and collectively envision a better future.

At the heart of Klang is SEED, an accessible, persistent world in which players share a history and shape a future. We provide an environment for a broad audience to belong and develop relationships in a society simulation inspired by life itself.

We aspire to bring people together through engaging media experiences and by building strong communities.

It's a super exciting project, but in order for us to achieve a goal like this we are going to need a lot of help! From people just like you.

We’re in search of a Marketing Lead (f/m/d) who can play a pivotal role in creating, what we believe, will be the first MMO of its kind.

So who would you be working with?

This role is part of our Publishing Team, where you’ll collaborate closely with community, product, design, and insights teams to develop and execute disruptive marketing campaigns that drive player acquisition and engagement for SEED. You’ll work directly with the Publishing Director, Game Director, Creative Director, and CEO, ensuring marketing efforts align with SEED’s vision and business goals..

So, what would you be doing?

  • Owning SEED’s Go-To-Market Strategy: Develop and execute non-traditional marketing campaigns that introduce SEED to the world as more than just a game—a living simulation of the future of humanity.
  • Driving the “Curated Societies” Strategy: Engage small influencers and communities, guiding them in bringing their audiences into SEED to build thriving societies.
  • Building Awareness & Growing Player Interest: Design and optimize marketing campaigns to increase email sign-ups, Discord community growth, and Steam wishlists ahead of the soft launch.
  • Performance Marketing & Data-Informed Growth: Lead paid media, audience segmentation, and campaign optimization, balancing blended CPI and ROAS to ensure sustainable growth.
  • Influencer & Community Engagement: Foster relationships with influencers across gaming and adjacent spaces, creating win-win partnerships that encourage player-driven expansion.
  • Brand Strategy & Creative Development: Develop disruptive, non-traditional marketing activations that challenge how games are positioned—making SEED feel like something truly different.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work alongside product, community, and creative teams to ensure marketing efforts align with in-game events and player engagement strategies.

You could be the person we are searching for, if you…

  • 7+ years in marketing roles with a strong background in DTC marketing, influencer marketing, and performance marketing.
  • A data-informed mindset, with experience optimizing paid campaigns, audience segmentation, and attribution modeling.
  • A non-conformist approach to marketing—you see the game industry’s status quo and want to do something completely different.
  • Experience developing social/viral marketing strategies, with a deep understanding of the network effect and community-driven growth.
  • Strong storytelling skills, capable of positioning SEED as a cultural movement, not just a game.
  • A proactive and self-driven approach, able to navigate ambiguity and experiment with bold ideas.

Bonus points for…

  • Hands-on experience working with gaming communities, influencers, and organic engagement strategies.
  • Experience marketing live service games, understanding the dynamics of player retention and engagement
