We are looking for a Marketing Manager to lead our marketing strategy and execution across Austria + Slovenia and Hungary. In this role, you will design and implement local marketing plans in close alignment with our global and EMEA brand directions, ensuring a seamless omnichannel consumer experience and strong brand presence across all channels.
As Marketing Manager, you will:
Ensure best-in-class consumer experience across the cluster, in line with Salomon’s brand vision.
Develop, coordinate and monitor the local marketing plan aligned with global and regional strategies.
Lead, coach and inspire the local marketing team while managing budgets.
Execute impactful D2C activations and deliver consistent omnichannel brand experiences.
Build and implement Joint Trade Marketing plans with wholesale partners to ensure strong brand visibility.
Represent the brand at local events, Epicenters, federations and institutions.
Lead local sustainability initiatives, including carbon footprint reduction and consumer education programs.
Be the key marketing point of contact for local Key Accounts, Premium Partners and HQ Retail.
Deliver compelling customer presentations and co-develop local customer plans with Sales.
Own and track local Joint Marketing Plans.
Representation & collaboration with EMEA/Global teams:
Act as the voice of the local markets within the EMEA and global brand organizations.
Translate market needs into actionable regional requirements.
Report KPIs, performance and local insights to the EMEA Marketing Director.
Share best practices across the EMEA marketing community.
You are a strategic and hands-on marketing leader with strong omnichannel expertise. You know how to turn global brand strategy into locally relevant execution, and you thrive in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment.
5 to 7 years’ experience in marketing and communication, ideally in the sporting goods, fashion or lifestyle industries.
Strong expertise in B2B, D2C and retail/etailer environments.
Experience leading teams and proven track record of coaching and motivating people.
Excellent client presentation skills and ability to engage with senior stakeholders.
Fluent in English & German.
Strong planning, analytical and communication skills.
Solid understanding of the sporting goods market and consumer trends.
Permanent contract.
