As we continue to scale and grow, we are in search of a Materials Project Coordinator / Specialist to strengthen the Oura Sourcing team. This is an essential role to contribute for Oura’s excellence in sourcing & materials availability management from concepting phases to mass production.

As a Materials Project Coordinator/Specialist, you will be responsible for executing materials availability management, logistics and procurement activities. This role involves liaising with suppliers and factories, purchasing, managing inventory levels, ensuring timely delivery of materials, and maintaining accurate records of transactions. This role will offer you opportunity for professional development, both within the position and the company.

What You Will Do

  • Establish yourself as effective and versatile sourcing / materials management professional throughout Oura internal teams, factories and supply base
  • Coordinate materials and components availability for prototyping and production as part our Oura sourcing team
  • Purchasing & Inventory management, including all related aspects from analyzing requirements to getting things done  
  • Plan and monitor material flow – develop & improve processes, systems & reporting
  • Develop Oura material procurement and management tools and practices

Requirements

  • Master/Bachelor degree in Business or Engineering (e.g. industrial engineering)
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant industry experience from procurement and materials availability management from technology industry
  • Good understanding of logistics in international trade and experience from coordinating global freight
  • Excellent skills in use of ERP and Excel
  • Systematic and disciplined behavior, ability to see the big picture while paying attention for details
  • Ability to work independently within given tasks and responsibility areas, coupled with a proactive hands-on approach to problem-solving and task execution
  • Excellent teamworking, coordination, communication, and interpersonal skills. Problem solver who is always able to find a way to co-operate.
  • A team player, with a focus on continuous improvement who makes people around better
  • For Specialist role, additionally strong analytical skills, and a thorough understanding and experience of inventory management and supply chain principles with minimum of 5 years of experience from similar role
