We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Sales Representative to join our team and contribute to our success in securing direct media deals for a 3-6 month contract assignment. This role involves selling advertising space and media solutions directly to clients, fostering relationships, and meeting sales targets. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sales, excellent communication skills, and a keen understanding of the media landscape.

Responsibilities:

  • Prospecting and Lead Generation:
    • Identify potential clients and key decision-makers in target industries.
    • Conduct market research to understand client needs and industry trends.
    • Generate leads through networking, cold calling, and other outreach strategies.
  • Client Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients.
    • Understand clients' business goals and challenges to tailor media solutions accordingly.
    • Provide excellent customer service and be responsive to client inquiries.
  • Sales Presentations:
    • Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations to showcase the value of our direct media deals.
    • Clearly articulate the benefits of advertising with our platform and address client concerns.
  • Negotiation and Deal Closure:
    • Collaborate with clients to negotiate terms, pricing, and contractual agreements.
    • Close deals and achieve sales targets within specified timelines.
  • Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams:
    • Work closely with marketing and creative teams to develop customized solutions for clients.
    • Communicate client feedback and requirements to internal teams for seamless execution.
  • Market Intelligence:
    • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies in the media landscape.
    • Provide feedback to the team on market dynamics and potential areas for improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Enthusiastic and results-driven attitude.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic understanding of media sales and advertising principles

Our targeted compensation rate for this contract position based in Culver City, California is between $35-$50/hour plus commission, depending on experience, expertise, internal equity within the organization, and alignment with market data.
