Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead the architectural design and implementation of new, scalable systems that form the backbone of our media valuation and fan analytics products.

• Architect the core systems that operationalize our advanced AI, a key component of our fair market valuation engine for global sports sponsorships.

• Define the strategy for modernizing some of our existing applications.

• Mentor senior and junior engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and innovation.

• Establish and enforce best practices for coding, testing, CI/CD, and infrastructure.

• Write code for critical components, proofs-of-concept, and foundational frameworks that will be used by multiple teams.

Qualifications

• Experience: 5-12 years of software engineering experience, with a proven track record of leading large-scale technical projects.

• Modern Backend: Expert-level proficiency in at least two of the following: Java, Python, Go, or Node.js.

• Modern Frontend: Strong proficiency in ReactJS, Angular, or Next.js.

• System Architecture: Proven experience designing, building, and reverse-engineering complex, distributed systems. You must have deep, hands-on experience refactoring and migrating legacy codebases (e.g., from .NET or PHP to a modern stack).

• Technical Breadth: Expertise in microservice architecture, cloud platforms (AWS preferred), functional know-how of data platforms, and infrastructure-as-code.

• Exposure to building AI applications, and using AI coding tools like Cursor, and coaching teams on responsible usage of these tools
