THE OPPORTUNITY

We are hiring a PRODUCT DESIGNER to our BASE (Business Architecture Services) team in BRAZIL

As a BASE Product Designer, you will have the exciting opportunity to evolve our product vision, leading the team to improve the current product towards a more seamless and user-friendly experience. You are going to be responsible for driving the UX in Identity and Accounts team working closely with our product and engineering team, business stakeholders and other product teams being responsible for all Authentication and Authorization services and related product journeys for all types of users (members, clients, partners) that navigate across the Gympass experience (journeys such as login, account recovery, permissions and others). You will also be leading all user Account Management features (such as change email, password and others) , coordinating with other product teams on how to deliver a consistent user experience across all the features that can be accessed from the account section.

Last but not least, you'll also be closely with other design peers in your digital Product Designer job, working with the most collaborative, inspiring and talented people. Learning and contributing to our UX Chapter, being part of the Yoga Community (our Gympass Design System) and working closely with our talented UX Writing and UX Research team.

YOUR IMPACT

  • Create and develop new features and changes to our product, achieving an outstanding performance through high aesthetic level;
  • Work on prototypes, validating design concepts with stakeholders and customers having in mind when to apply pixel-perfect approach to the UI, and when to make sketches and prototypes to validate quickly;
  • Perform research and user experience tests, being aware about the competitive landscape;
  • Find opportunities to design and validate solutions based on user behavior and needs;
  • Guide, influence, and motivate the product team with thought-provoking ideas and recommendations;
  • Let user needs lead the way, applying the best practices in order to guide us to the best solutions;

WHO YOU ARE

  • A person who clearly aligns with our culture and work dynamics, not only capable of thriving in it, but also helping Gympass to keep bold, young and in constant expansion;
  • Successful professional design experience, preferably at Technology Startup companies;
  • Experience planning, conducting, analyzing and reporting on user studies for discovery and evaluation;
  • Open to learn and contribute on a daily basis with the continuous and constant flow of changes that defines our business;
  • Experience with designing and setting up user testing and research studies;
  • Deep knowledge with User Experience processes, service design and information architecture;
  • Must be proactive, has the ability to think outside of the box and hands-on profile, to fit with our start up culture;
  • Excellent communication skills are a must, you need to be able to articulate ideas clearly when speaking to groups in Portuguese and English;
  • Experience and interest in UI design is essential;
  • Experience designing digital platforms with responsive design and working with Identity and account flows is a plus.
