We are seeking a Mid-Level Product Illustrator & Motion Designer to own the development of our illustration style and create meaningful motion/animation experiences within our product interface. This role requires a specialist who can build scalable illustration systems and enhance the user experience with purposeful, delightful animation. You will bridge the worlds of brand creativity and product design.

What You'll Do 🎯

• Illustration System Ownership: Concept, design, and maintain a consistent, scalable illustration library (icons, spot illustrations, hero graphics) used across the product interface, marketing, and brand communications.

• Product Motion Design: Collaborate directly with Product Managers and UI/UX Designers to define and implement micro-interactions, state transitions, loading animations, and engaging empty states within the product experience.

• Brand Integration: Ensure the illustration and motion language seamlessly integrates with the overall brand identity and tone of voice, making complex product concepts visually intuitive.

• Workflow Integration: Optimize and document illustration and motion handoff processes for engineering teams (e.g., using Lottie, Rive, or similar tools for scalable production).

• Trend and Tech Research: Stay current with the latest techniques in product illustration, interactive design, and motion tooling, recommending ways to enhance the user experience through visual storytelling.

What You'll Bring 💡

• Product-Focused Portfolio: A strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in developing detailed illustration styles and applying motion design specifically within a digital product, app, or UI environment.

• Illustration Mastery: Proven ability to create diverse, high-quality illustrations that are conceptual, communicative, and visually appealing.

• Motion & Prototyping Skills: Expertise in tools like After Effects for motion, along with experience using prototyping/hand-off tools like Lottie/Bodymovin, Rive, or Figma's motion features.

• Technical Fluency: Strong command of the Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator/Photoshop) and proficiency in collaborative design platforms like Figma.

• Product Collaboration: Experience working directly within an agile product team (with Product Managers, Engineers, and UX Designers) and advocating for the role of illustration and motion in UX.

• Bonus: Experience working with 3D or familiarity with utilizing AI to enhance illustration or motion workflows.
