THE OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for a Mid-Level Product Manager to join the Retention team in Portugal.

This is a unique opportunity to directly shape how users interact with and experience Wellhub, driving key retention metrics and directly contributing to subscribers growth and overall user satisfaction. You will work closely with the hiring manager and cross-functional teams to define, prioritize, and execute on a roadmap focused on enhancing subscriber retention through engagement and other retention strategies.

The ideal person is someone who is passionate about subscribers growth, possesses strong analytical skills, thrives in a collaborative environment, and is excited to rapidly test and learn to optimize our retention strategies.  

YOUR IMPACT

You will be responsible for driving the evolution of Wellhub's subscriber retention strategy, working closely with the hiring manager to define the strategy and roadmap.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product designers, engineers, and data analysts, to implement and optimize engagement features.
  • Analyze subscriber behavior and engagement and retention metrics to identify opportunities for improvement and inform decision-making.
  • Conduct experiments and A/B tests to validate hypotheses and optimize the effectiveness of retention initiatives.
  • Present findings and recommendations to leadership, effectively communicating the impact of retention strategies on key business metrics
  • Maintain a strong understanding of industry trends and best practices in subscriber growth and engagement.
  • Foster a data-driven culture of experimentation and continuous improvement within the team.

WHO YOU ARE

  • 1–3 years of experience as a Product Manager or in a similar role focused on user engagement, ideally in a B2C or B2B2C digital product environment.
  • Proven ability to drive subscriber engagement and retention through contextual guidance, behavioral change design, or other engagement strategies.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and generate actionable insights.    
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.    
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.    
  • A strong bias for action and a passion for testing, learning, and iterating quickly.    
  • Fluent in English.    
  • Also desired:
    • Experience with SQL or other data querying languages.
    • Exposure to product development teams and understanding of how Product, Engineering, and Design operate together.
