Hi, I’m Dan Pina, DevOps Team Lead at Hawk-Eye Innovations, and I’m excited to invite you to join our team as a DevOps Engineer. If you're passionate about innovative infrastructure and want to shape the technology driving elite sports globally, this is your chance.

What You’ll Do

As a DevOps Engineer at Hawk-Eye Innovations, you’ll build and maintain cutting-edge infrastructure supporting the elite sports industry. Your role will include:

• Architecting and deploying infrastructure for large-scale data and video streaming platforms.

• Streamlining service deployment to reduce time and complexity for development teams.

• Managing deployments of R&D systems for broader engineering needs.

• Enhancing Security by minimizing risks and improving visibility of incidents.

• Collaborating with development and product teams to foster a strong DevOps culture.

You’ll enjoy autonomy to shape our DevOps practices while supporting critical systems, including occasional on-call or weekend work to ensure seamless operations.

What You’ll Need

• AWS Expertise: IAM, Load Balancers, VPC, S3, Route53, EC2, ECS, Step Functions, Lambda, and optionally Direct Connect, Peering, and PrivateLink.

• Automation Skills: Terraform (essential), CloudFormation (desirable).

• Development & Deployment: CI/CD pipelines, Docker & containerization, and Git or similar version control.

• Messaging Systems: Experience with AMQ, Pulsar, or RabbitMQ.

• Programming Knowledge: Python (essential).

• Desirable Tools: GitHub Actions, Artifactory, observability tools (e.g., DataDog, Grafana), and database/datastore familiarity.
