Narrative Coordinator - TEMP 6 month contract

We have an opportunity for a Narrative Coordinator (TEMP - 6 months) who is passionate about the art and process involved in game development to join our studio!

You will work with a team of professionals on the management of our VO pipeline from writing through implementation. Working closely with the Narrative Lead and Narrative Development Manager to ensure all VO is accounted for in game.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Oversee the voice-over (VO) pipeline from script creation through implementation
• Collaborate with the Design and Narrative teams to prepare scripts for VO recording sessions, create dialog inventory reports, and ensure accurate tracking of dialog inventory from writing to recording and implementation
• Manage the localization pipeline, from Narrative to UI, in partnership with Engineering, UI/UX and Narrative teams, organizing and delivering dialog, scripts, in game text, and reports to support the Localization team
• Optimize existing tools and establish best practices for efficiently managing dialog at a high volume
• Partner with QA and Design teams to manage the pipeline and triage functional and tonal feedback of imported dialog
• Collaborate with Narrative and Audio teams to oversee the pipeline for audio processing of select imported dialog
• Schedule VO recording sessions with partnering recording studios, voice directors, and hired actors
• Work with Systems Design to facilitate the import of dialog into existing systems

Skills, Knowledge, and Experience

• 2+ years of project management/coordinator experience
• 2+ years of script coordinating experience
• Demonstrate strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets
• Exhibit strong organizational skills with the ability manage complex data tables
• Be a reliable teammate with the ability to work independently
• Excel as an effective communicator in both verbal and written forms
• Display attention to detail, flexibility and problem-solving skills.
• Preferred: Experience in technical implementation using game narrative tools of choice.

The pay range for this position in California at the start of employment is expected to be between $55,000 and $80,000 per year. However, base pay offered is based on market location, and may vary further depending on individualized factors for job candidates, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to those same considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a bonus and/or equity awards, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an 'at-will position' and the company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation or benefit program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
