NBC Bay Area's Digital Internship provides students with real world experience and exposure to working in a major market and in a high-energy newsroom.
Join our award-winning digital team and gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, major market newsroom. Interns will work alongside experienced digital journalists who manage the websites, apps and social media platforms for NBC Bay Area and Telemundo Área de la Bahía.
We are seeking motivated candidates with a strong interest in multiplatform news production and social media engagement. This internship offers an immersive look at the day-to-day operations of a duopoly television station’s digital process.
Interns will have the opportunity to develop and sharpen their newswriting skills across platforms – whether it’s for a web story, a social media post or a mobile app push alert -- while learning best practices in digital publishing and audience growth.
Summer internship dates are June 1, 2026 through August 7, 2026.
