Summary

Under general direction and supervision, this position is responsible for handling, preparing and executing all elements of the Brooklyn Nets Public Relations (PR) department game night strategy and will provide direct support to leadership in order to facilitate proper execution of PR functions. As part of the Public Relations department, you will become an integral member of the team which supports the media, basketball operations staff and business operations. This position is part time but will require late nights and open availability for a majority of Brooklyn Nets home games. The incumbent must be available at least 2.5 hours before each game starts through to one hour after the game concludes.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assists leadership with all aspects of the Public Relations department functions on game nights;
  • Manages distribution of media credentials;
  • Prints and distributes stats to media, assists with team press conferences and other player/coach media availabilities before and after games;
  • Facilitates media dining operation and photo vest distribution;
  • Assists the media with various tasks;
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience 

  • Experience working in the sports industry is preferred

Salary Range

 $20/hr
