About the Role You will be joining a high-performing, global new partnerships sales team with a key focus on supporting the team to drive commercial growth by securing new partners across Tennis Australia’s events and participation products. Your focus will be on our Summer of Tennis events such as United Cup, Brisbane International, Adelaide International and Hobart international as well as supporting on other commercial partnership opportunities for new formats such as Padel, Pickleball or our most recent initiative, 1 Point Slam. Working with the New Partnerships Managers, you will support the sales process to help drive market leading, innovative brand partnerships.
You will: Support delivery of new revenue by assisting or identifying new commercial partnerships opportunities across the TA ecosystem Initiate sales calls to build a robust pipeline that drives new partnership opportunities in the market Identify new category opportunities and contribute to go-to-market plans Use insights and trends to shape compelling, brand-led partnership proposals Manage internal stakeholders to get alignment on commercial deals Support team on tracking sales activity About You Experience within a new business development position, understanding of sales strategy, ability to pipeline and generate revenue Understanding of global sports and entertainment Strong analytical skills to extract insights to help guide brand conversations Excellent communication abilities, capable of presenting to clients Experienced project manager and collaborative team player who thrives in fast-paced environments Advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially PowerPoint and Excel Preparedness to be flexible regarding working hours and arrangements relating to work associated with Tennis Australia and the Australian Open What’s to Love?
