<div>Reporting to the AVP, Global Sales, the NA Senior Sales Manager will lead wholesale partnerships & expansion for the NA region, and will be responsible for all processes related to successfully onboarding & managing brick & mortar retailers, marketplaces, and distributors.</div>

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • </b></br>
  • <li>Align with global stakeholders on a multi-year retailer pipeline for the NA Region across various industries, including but not limited to technology, sporting goods, and marketplaces, by analyzing retail market trends and conducting in-depth retailer diligence.</li>
  • <li>Proactively conduct retailer outreach where appropriate, create proposals, lead negotiations, and develop an onboarding plan in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.&nbsp;</li>
  • <li>Partner with Legal to execute contracts, develop SOPs to address unauthorized resellers, and establish country level wholesale policies.&nbsp;</li>
  • <li>Manage & optimise existing retailer relationships, hosting quarterly business reviews with retailers to review past and forward looking performance, assortment, and marketing levers, as well as ongoing weekly touchpoints.</li>
  • <li>Own commercial strategy, retailer level assortment, forecasts, sales reporting, inventory, and POS in collaboration with Marketing, Apparel & Accessories, Finance, and Operations</li>
  • <li>Align to quarterly sales targets, reporting on progress, risks & opportunities, as well as aligning to broader company OKRs</li>
  • <li>Coordinate strategy with brand country managers & trade marketing counterparts to collectively grow the WHOOP membership base within country.</li>
  • <li>Own communications internally with respect to pipeline, retailer launch status, and any bottlenecks impacting progress.&nbsp;</li>

QUALIFICATIONS

  • </b></br>
  • <li>8+ years in sales & market expansion, ideally in a dynamic start-up environment.&nbsp;</li>
  • <li>Fluent in English, with exceptional written and verbal communication.
  • Additional languages (especially Spanish) are a bonus - please reference them in your application.&nbsp;</li>
  • <li>Industry experience in consumer electronics or sports technology ideally</li>
  • <li>Sales professional with experience collaborating across operations, trade compliance, and marketing.&nbsp;</li>
  • <li>Brings a mix of a data driven, operational & commercial mindset to the table.&nbsp;</li>
  • <li>Excellent business acumen, negotiation and communication skills.&nbsp;</li>
  • <li>Curious, collaborative, and adaptable in an ever-changing field.</li>
  • <li>Self-starter; not afraid to roll up their sleeves and be an individual contributor Day 1.&nbsp;</li>
  • <li>Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.</li>
  • <li>Passion for fitness, health & technology.</li>
  • <li>Willingness to travel to retailers, trade shows, and WHOOP HQ in Boston, MA (up to 50%).</li>

  • <div><em>At WHOOP, we view total compensation as the combination of base salary, equity, and benefits, with equity serving as a key differentiator that aligns our employees with the long-term success of the company and allows every member of our corporate team to own part of WHOOP and share in the company’s long-term growth and success.</em></div>

  • <div><em>The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $130,000 - $170,000.
  • Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
  • Within each range, individual pay is based on factors such as job-related skills, experience, performance, and relevant education or training.&nbsp;</em></div>

  • <div><em>In addition to the base salary, the successful candidate will also receive benefits and a generous equity package..&nbsp;</em></div>

  • <div><em>These ranges may be modified in the future to reflect evolving market conditions and organizational needs.
  • While most offers will typically fall toward the starting point of the range, total compensation will depend on the candidate’s specific qualifications, expertise, and alignment with the role’s requirements.</em></div>
