Job Description

OVERVIEW:

 
This role exists to deliver our NSO’s [new store openings] ensuring we show up consistently in our teams & community experience whilst being our cultural “north star”. 

They are part of a core team that ensures our new stores open in line with our best practices; they support in recruiting, training & developing our new store teams, both pre, during & post store opening. 

This role will be heavily focused on the onboarding, training and development of our new store teams; delivering content both IRL or online to ensure affective knowledge transfer supporting our new teams being NSO ready.  

They’re responsible for being the Gymshark retail “ambassadors” to our new stores, utilizing their experience in NSO’s and supporting the teams to deliver successful store openings; on time & set up to achieve their KPI’s. 

This role will be a 9-month FTC with the possibility to extend (subject to business) needs or return to store at the end of your placement.

 

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING: 

  • Supporting the NSO Programme Lead to create & deliver the NSO onboarding & training programmes 
  • Delivering the IRL training programme “on the ground” to the NSO teams in market. Facilitating engaging, inspiring & fun workshops IRL 
  • The overall integrity & stability of the NSO that they have been assigned to 
  • Championing DEI across all our retail pillars 
  • Facilitating engaging, inspiring & fun workshops both IRL & online 
  • Supporting & delivering “on the ground” training for our new store openings
  • Being a coach to all NSO teams
  • Playing an active role in consulting around NSOs and related workstreams; sharing knowledge & best practise to reduce inefficiency, eliminating points of frustration and maximise commercial benefit.
  • Proactively network outside Gymshark & continually scan the retail & competitor landscape for best practises & innovation.
  • Encouraging a culture of belonging that everyone wants to be part of 

Accountable for: 

  • Our teams and community experience being consistent across the globe. 
  • Ensuring our approach to NSO’s are future proof, scalable across territories and a variety of IRL concepts [events, pop ups, 3P, stores & flagships] 
  • Ensuring our approach to training is culturally relevant & locally compliant. 
  • Ground the teams in a common language & tone of voice for Gymshark retail. 
  • Thinking ahead to foresee risks & challenges with NSO’s, clearly articulating these whilst providing solutions and mitigation strategies. 
  • Developing NSO teams to improve core team strength & grow a diverse talent pipeline. 
  • Delivering the NSO programme within IRL programme framework [structure, overall plan & critical path, budget, RAID] 
  • Championing DEI and ensuring content is accessible & appropriate for all. 
  • Driving & championing a culture of continued personal & professional development 
  • Lead in line with our brand values 

 

WHAT YOU'LL NEED: 

  • Experience delivering training, developing & coaching others. 
  • A passionate Gymshark brand ambassador & cultural north star 
  • Experience supporting NSO’s.
  • Experience delivering events & community building activations.
  • People first mindset
  • Exceptional team player; bring out the best in others.
  • Resilient and highly adaptable to new markets, countries and cultures
  • Effective facilitator, storyteller and highly effective communicator both in writing & speech

  • Ability to travel, relocate on a semi-permanent basis [up to 6 months].
  • If at any time this role is not assigned to an NSO, willing to support within the Retail Operations team in LDN office or supporting in a UK based store.
