PART TIME SALES OPERATIONS COORDINATOR

We’re looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Sales Operations Coordinator for a part-time permanent role (3 days per week) to support our APAC commercial team. Based in Melbourne, this role plays a key part in keeping day-to-day sales operations running smoothly through order processing, data accuracy, and operational coordination.

This role suits someone organised, dependable, people-focused, and confident handling routine operational tasks with strong attention to detail. You’ll work independently within defined processes, helping ensure deals move efficiently while escalating issues when needed.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Order Processing: Support day-to-day sales operations by processing orders and maintaining accurate records across Salesforce.Sales Support: Translate sales inputs (quotes, contracts, purchase orders) into accurate, invoiceable sales orders.Data Accuracy & Validation: Ensure pricing, product configuration, and contract details are accurate and consistent across systems.Contract & Subscription Review: Research prior contracts and subscriptions to help identify overlaps, renewals, or alignment issues.Cross-Functional Issue Resolution: Work with Sales, Finance, Legal, and Logistics to help resolve order, contract, or process-related issues, coordinating next steps and escalating where needed to keep deals moving.

  • Process & System Feedback: Observe how Salesforce is used in day to day sales operations, flag recurring issues or friction points, and share improvement suggestions with the Sales Operations team.

WHAT YOUR SUCCESS WILL LOOK LIKE

After 6 months, you are confidently supporting routine sales operations for the APAC region. Orders are processed accurately and on time with minimal rework, and you have a solid understanding of core sales workflows. You know when to proceed independently and when escalation is required.

At 12 months, you are independently handling common deal and order scenarios within defined processes. You proactively identify and flag issues or risks before they become blockers and contribute thoughtful, practical feedback on process improvements based on your day-to-day experience. You are a consistent and trusted operational partner for the APAC sales team, helping keep deals moving efficiently.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

  • Sales Operations or Admin Experience: 1+ years of experience in sales operations, sales administration, or a similar operational support role.
  • Order & Contract Support Experience: Experience supporting sales teams with order processing, contract coordination, or structured data entry preferred. 
  • Attention to Detail: Strong accuracy and comfort working within defined processes and systems.
  • Independent Execution: Ability to work independently on routine operational tasks and escalate issues appropriately.
  • Communication Skills: Clear written and verbal communication skills, especially when working across teams and time zones.
  • Time Management: Strong organizational and time management skills, particularly in a part-time role
  • Systems Aptitude: Comfort learning new systems and following best practices.
  • Salesforce Experience: Experience with Salesforce is a strong plus
