Conduct security assessments of all NASCAR sanctioned facilities against NASCAR's Minimum Security Standards. Assist the Senior Director and Director in managing the Corporate Security Program by studying physical security conditions, observation of activities, and by conferring with management regarding internal operations. Is responsible to act as a liaison with federal, state, municipal law enforcement and public safety agencies. Conduct investigations as necessary and provide written report of findings. Assist Senior Director and Senior Managers in providing executive protection as necessary.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Track responsibilities/duties:
-Meetings - Safety/Communications; Production; Photographer; Put it Out; Driver/Crew Chief
-Qualifying (pit road and pole)
-Pre-race
-Monitor Garage Credentials
-Garage and Pit Road during the event
-Assist Gate Personnel w/Credentials
-Contact track security, local, Federal and State law enforcement to make sure there is no threat or reason we cannot
proceed with the event.
-Monitor Driver/Owner lot.
-Assist track security with any security issues involving NASCAR personnel/participants.
QUALIFICATIONS
Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. Ability to assess situations related to executive protection and make the appropriate judgement call in the moment.
