Who You Are: The Partnerships & Licensing Manager will work closely with teams both internally and externally to drive Nutrabolt’s partnerships with brand partners, team sponsorships, licensors etc. You will maintain and activate current relationships in addition to onboarding new partners. We’re looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and who can take initiative to achieve results.

This role is eligible to participate in our Management Bonus Plan.             

What You're Good At:

Partnership Management

  • Support C4 Energy, Cellucor, and XTEND business objectives with Partnership Marketing, which may include team/league sponsorships, industry specific partnerships such as gym or lifestyle brand partners, licensing opportunities, and/or expanding opportunities within the current partnership scopes
  • Assist with day-to-day communication with key partner contacts to execute various partnership activations and initiatives
  • Track and organize brand creative & approvals both internally and externally with partners
  • Manage contractual assets such as social posts, content, production days, appearances, branding, media integration, community and/or retail integration, PR, etc. and ensure all deliverables are met
  • Manage invoices and finance processes
  • Maximize year-over-year value with existing partnerships through innovative and creative ideas
  • Assist with partnership scouting as needed to create partnerships within key segments and audience targets

Licensing Management

  • Assist with day-to-day communication with licensors on latest product plans & initiatives
  • Support end-to-end product, packaging, and in-store development plans across multiple departments
  • Track and organize brand approvals with licensors from concept through production
  • Ensure rules & regulations for each licensor/brand are implemented in both creative and execution
  • Manage royalty reporting and invoice processes with finance
  • Maintain up to date knowledge of the licensing industry and monitor competitor activities

Activation / Integrated Marketing Plans

  • Assist with delivering trimester partnership marketing 360 plans aligning to larger department and organizational goals
  • Support high quality, cross-functional collaboration with the broader marketing team including brand, social, content, public relations, retail/shopper marketing, and field marketing. Collaborate with other departments including sales, product development, legal, finance, and HR to maximize partnership effectiveness
  • Support planning and execution of various partner events throughout the calendar year, from brand/retailer integrations to experiential activations
  • Ensure partners are product experts and advocates by delivering high quality product education
  • Provide best in class service to partners, such as supplying product and branded items
  • Build trusted relationships with partners going beyond transactional and creating an environment in which partners feel like an extension of the family

What You Contribute: 

Minimum Qualifications 

  • 2-4 years of experience in partnership/sponsorship marketing
  • Knowledge of the brand licensing business, including managing relationships with licensors and/or licensees
  • Proven team player with an ability to develop high quality internal and external relationships
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment under tight deadlines
  • Ability to think strategically at a high level, but also develop tactical recommendations and execute with great attention to detail
  • Superior critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • High quality communication skills with the ability to create effective presentations in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Power Point

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience in the beverage, fitness, and/or sports or active nutrition industries
  • Background at either a licensor/licensee business or licensing agency
  • Familiarity with using partnerships to drive sales goals and omnichannel results
