What You'll Do

Epic is looking to add a Partnerships Manager to manage, maintain, and execute key programs for Fortnite’s Cultural IP Partnerships team. In this role, you’ll help bring to life industry-defining experiences with global partners across music, fashion, sports, talent and brands. You’ll work with industry-leading companies, teams, and individuals, and the internal teams, to create the future of interactive entertainment.

In this role, you will

  • Use market and player insights to identify new commercial opportunities with Culture partners (sports, music, fashion, brands, emerging tech, talent, and influencers)
  • Build and maintain strong relationships across key industry stakeholders in Culture
  • Oversee the execution of Culture partnerships from negotiation to launch, leading day-to-day engagement with external stakeholders and ensuring their needs are incorporated into planning
  • Manage Culture partnership marketing campaign development with internal teams (art/design, product, marketing, publishing, legal), ensuring timely delivery at Epic quality
  • Identify KPIs and manage budgets for all partnership deal economics
  • Collaborate with Partnerships Managers and Legal on negotiations and partnership operations
  • Evaluate partnership success based on KPIs and produce reports for internal and external stakeholders

What we're looking for

  • 6-8+ years of partnerships or business development experience in the Gaming or Culture industries (e.g., sports, music, talent)
  • Proven track record of pitching, negotiating, and executing partnerships with high-profile talent
  • Strong account management, project management, and partnership operations experience with technology or consumer-facing brands
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in fast-paced environments, with excellent organizational skills and agility in handling shifting priorities
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills; adept at interfacing with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders, with sound judgment and critical thinking under pressure
  • Demonstrated ability to build and sustain long-term relationships with internal and external stakeholders; able to think creatively and analytically to drive commercial success
  • Strategic thinker with a deep understanding of gaming and a strong ability to apply market and player insights in decision-making
  • Fluency in AI applications for improving internal efficiencies and creating new value streams
  • Experience with data analysis and project management tools such as Tableau, Airtable, Miro, Asana, and deep expertise in Google Suite

This role is open to multiple locations across the US (including CA, NYC, & WA).

Pay Transparency Information

The expected annual base pay range(s) for this position are detailed below. Each base pay range is relevant only for individuals who are residents of or will be expected to work within the specified locale. Compensation varies based on a variety of factors, which include (but aren’t limited to) things such as skills and competencies, qualifications, knowledge, and experience. In addition to base pay, most employees are eligible to participate in Epic’s generous benefit plans and discretionary incentive programs (subject to the terms of those plans or programs).

$131,902$193,456 USD
California Base Pay Range
$116,074$170,242 USD
Washington Base Pay Range
$105,521$154,765 USD
