Job Description

We're putting together a talented team to build the #1 training platform for Runners

We help everyday runners become outstanding by providing world-class training, coaching and community for everyone, whether you're improving your 5k time or training for your first marathon. To date we have built iOS, Android and Apple watch apps that help people achieve their goals by coaching them through the full journey and syncing to their favourite fitness devices.

We’re growing extremely fast and in November 2023 closed a new $6.5M funding round led by JamJar with participation from Eka Ventures, Venrex and Creator Ventures. In 2024, we were selected by Apple as one of three global finalists for the 2024 iPhone App of the Year, reflecting the innovation and impact of what we’ve built. We’re now looking ahead to the future and the people who want to help us build and scale Runna. Our aim is to reach millions of subscribers in the next 5 years and be the go-to training platform for any runner. What You'll Be Doing:

You’ll be the glue that keeps our talent process running smoothly, working alongside our awesome Talent & People leads. Your day-to-day will include:

  • Interview Coordination: Scheduling interviews, liaising with hiring managers, and ensuring candidates have a seamless experience.
  • Recruitment Support: Helping to post job ads, screen applications, and coordinate hiring processes.
  • Onboarding Admin: Preparing contracts, collecting necessary documents, and making sure new hires feel welcome from day one.
  • HR Admin: Keeping our people records up to date, handling paperwork, and supporting employee lifecycle processes.
  • Employer Branding: Supporting initiatives to showcase our amazing culture and attract top talent (think social media, events, and employer review sites!).
  • General Team Support: Jumping in to help the People & Talent team with projects and process improvements.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need to juggle multiple tasks effectively. You'll thrive in a lively environment where new challenges are just part of the day-to-day. We're looking for someone who loves connecting with others and is excited to contribute to our vibrant culture while playing a key role in shaping the future of talent management at Runna.

  • A people person who’s super organized and detail-oriented.
  • Strong communication skills – you’ll be chatting with candidates, hiring managers, and new starters all the time!
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks and keep things moving.
  • Interest in HR, recruitment, and making workplaces great.
  • Some admin experience (bonus points if it’s in recruitment or HR, but not essential).
  • Tech-savvy – comfortable with email, scheduling tools, and spreadsheets.
  • A genuine interest in fostering a positive company culture and promoting employee engagement.

Interview process

We aim to keep the interview process straightforward and enjoyable, which will include the following stages:

  1. Introductory chat with Milly, Head of People(30 minute video call)
  2. Interview with Emily & Kerri, Talent Lead and People & Office Manager (45 minutes video call)
  3. Final round (Office visit) with Emily, Milly & Kerri and wider-team meet & chat

Once the process is finished, we promise to let you know our decision as soon as possible.

Benefits

We offer a salary of £30,000 - £35,000 depending on experience, plus equity in the form of Runna stock options.

We'll be growing our package of benefits over time. We currently offer:
