Job Description

The opportunity 

As our People Operations Manager at Urban Sports Group, you will join the Global People Operations team that supports 300+ employees as part of our larger People department. You will take care of the needs and requests of our employees throughout their whole employee lifecycle, from onboarding to offboarding, as well as continuously improving the work experience through project work.

Your responsibilities 

  • Be the go-to person for administrative and labor-law HR topics along the entire employee lifecycle and across all entities
  • Manage and coordinate employees on- and off-boarding inclusive visa processes
  • Take over daily business tasks (creating contract documents, certificates, and other personnel-related documents) and support with the preparation of an accurate payroll
  • Maintenance of the global HR software (Personio) incl. all relevant changes
  • Participate in international HR projects, such as benefits & perks, on- and offboarding and further improvements and professionalization in the areas of our core services

What you need to succeed 

  • You have worked 2+ years in a similar HR position 
  • You communicate confidently in English and German
  • You are experienced in employment law in Germany
  • You work very detail-oriented and you are accurate, diligent and meticulous
  • You have managed your first bigger projects successfully
  • Ideally you have first experience in working with a global benefit framework 
  • You have a positive solution-oriented attitude with healthy pragmatism ("hands-on mentality")
