Entain Australia & New Zealand are fearlessly revolutionising the sports, racing and wagering industry. We are committed to delivering exceptional and unforgettable customer experiences, fuelled by creativity, innovation, and a strong connection between our audience and industry. At the heart of our organisation is our People team, dedicated to fostering a vibrant, inclusive culture where every individual feels valued, supported, and inspired to grow both personally and professionally.

We’re looking for a People Services Manager to play a critical role in shaping the foundation of our People function across Australia and New Zealand. From onboarding to offboarding, and everything in between, you’ll lead the way in optimising systems, refining documentation, and driving continuous improvement across our HR operations. This is a role where getting the details right empowers people across the business.

You’ll also lead a dedicated HR Administration team, championing a culture of high performance, service quality, and process discipline. You’ll go beyond day-to-day operations to help shape a people-first HR model, bringing fresh ideas, clear structure, and a thoughtful approach to how we support our teams.

This is a unique opportunity that blends compassionate leadership, a systems-driven mindset, and genuine influence on the employee experience. If you're a values-driven professional who’s passionate about building strong foundations that help individuals and organisations thrive, this is the role for you.

Where and how you can work...

We have offices expanding across multiple locations in New Zealand and Australia. This is a full time role based in our Brisbane office.

We’re committed to a flexible work environment, offering a hybrid model with in-office collaboration on Tuesdays and Thursdays, balanced with the freedom to work from home. This approach supports work-life balance, respects individual preferences, and creates a more personalised and productive way of working.

Your day-to-day...

  • Own and enhance core HR admin processes (onboarding, offboarding, leave, contracts, compliance) to ensure consistency and scalability across ANZ.
  • Maintain clear, up-to-date documentation of HR workflows, regularly reviewing for efficiency and alignment.
  • Drive continuous improvement, identifying opportunities to simplify, automate, and optimise HR systems and processes.
  • Oversee timely and accurate delivery of people admin services, ensuring data accuracy and policy compliance.
  • Support key employee and manager interactions, ensuring all documentation meets internal and legal standards.
  • Manage and optimise the HRIS (Oracle), ensuring effective configuration, system performance, and strong data oversight.
  • Promote a people-first service mindset, balancing empathy, responsiveness, and operational excellence.
  • Handle confidential data with precision, ensuring compliance in payroll, contracts, and employee records.
  • Build trust across the organisation through reliable, values-aligned support and communication.
  • Lead and develop the HR admin team, setting clear goals, providing feedback, and developing engagement.

You're a match if you have…

  • Proven experience in people operations or HR shared services roles across diverse countries and regions.
  • Experience working in fast-paced, high-growth, or globally matrixed organisations is valuable.
  • Formal qualifications in HR, business operations, or related systems would be advantageous.
  • Demonstrated skills in leading HRIS and payroll systems – including implementation, configuration, and vendor management.
  • Familiarity with platforms like Oracle, ADP, Power Bi or similar tools would be considered desirable.
  • In-depth knowledge of employment legislation and payroll regulations across multiple regions.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and highly trustworthy when managing confidential employee information.
  • Expertise in process design, detailed documentation, and end-to-end process improvement.
  • Committed to providing outstanding support and creating smooth, employee-friendly HR experiences.
  • Strong cross-cultural communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate across global teams.
